The History of Gregorian Chant by our Choir Mistress is serialised and will resume in the Summer. Part One gave an overview of the History of Gregorian Chant with specific reference to its Jewish roots. There is a reading list at the end of each article.  The second installment covered the Eastern connections of the Chant.  The third installment in the series addresses the Growth of the Western Rites from the 4th to the 8th Centuries. This serialised History of the Chant will be resumed with the Fourth installment in 2023 and precedes the series on the Method of Solesmes.

The Method of Solesmes will appear in serialised form in 2023.
